Spring 2009

• The Bill amending the Universities Act debated in Parliament

Autumn 2009

• The new university starts on 1 August 2009
  
• The new Universities Act takes force
• Implementation of the strategy
• Helsinki School of Economics (HSE), University of Art and Design (TaiK) and Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) cease to operate as independent units.
