The President for the Aalto University will be selected by means of a broad international search. In order to enable him or her to begin managing the upcoming changes as soon as possible, the new President will be appointed as early as October or November with the objective of allowing the Foundation to undertake the tasks and responsibilities of the three universities by the end of 2009.
